INTRODUCTION
Tourism today has embedded with our daily life and space and fostered our heritage, creativity and
well-being. Tourism often thrives in cities rich in heritage, as historical landmarks and cultural traditions and, in turn, vitalize heritage and culture. Tourism has benefited from the accumulated creativity of citizens over many generations and, in turn, stimulates the creative spaces in towns and cities nowadays. The influx of tourists stimulates local economies and fosters a sense of pride among residents of their culture and heritage which are the assets of their previous generations’ creativity. In turn, today’s creativity supports the preservation and reinterpretation of heritage through innovative approaches and experiences. Cities that embrace creativity not only enhance their cultural offerings but also create vibrant, engaging environments that appeal to both tourists and locals, ensuring the sustainable development of their heritage assets. Researchers examine how tourism can be leveraged to preserve and promote heritage, while also fostering economic growth and social cohesion. Cities that effectively integrate their heritage and creativity into tourism strategies can enhance their attractiveness and competitiveness. Creative approaches to heritage management, such as digital storytelling, immersive experiences, and cultural
festivals, not only draw tourists but also engage local communities, ensuring the sustainable preservation of cultural assets. This synergy between tourism, heritage, city, and creativity ultimately supports vibrant, resilient urban environments that benefit both residents and visitors.
