School of Hospitality and Tourism
1. Overview
The Communication Committee is under the management of Youth Union – School of Hospitality and Tourism and was founded on February 14, 2012.
Our slogan is: “YOUR IDEAS ARE OUR WORK!”
The Communication Committee, established and run on a voluntary basis, aims to be the best and most updated news channel for students. The Communication Committee acts as an information channel to connect Faculty teachers and students in an effective, reliable and timely manner. The Committee also provides assistance and support through information board, facebook page and online forum.
The Communication Committee activities focus on 3 main areas: news and propagation, communication and event organisation. Besides, the Committee engages actively in union activities to help Faculty students develop their union skills and social profile.
2. Committee organizational structure:
The Committee consists of 20 members, mostly are students from the 48th and 49th years. Board member of the Committee are as follows:
- President: Duong Thi Man
- Vice Presidents: Nguyen Thi Thu Thuy, Truong Anh Nhat Uyen, Le Thi Thu Hoai
- Board members: Nguyen Van Tuan, Le Thi Huong
3. Operational plan:
- Bring internal Faculty news and events to students in a fastest way
- Continue to be the effective online platform for student advisory services and information.
- Broadcast useful external information.
- Collaborate with Faculty Youth Union to assist new students as well as current students through information support, counselling workshops and networking events.
- Support Faculty students to improve their union skills.
Participate in voluntary work and activities organised by Faculty and Hue University Youth Union such as: “Examination Support”, “Blue Summer”.
