English Club

1. Introduction:

– English name: Hospitality And Tourism’s English’s Club

– Date of establishment: March 03, 2010

– Functions:

• Provide a social platform for students to practise their english skills, build their network and friendships.
• Offer opportunities for students to practise their english skills with native English speakers.
• Organise fun and informative activities for students to improve their foreign language skills as well as social skills.
• Help students to improve their soft skills such as team work skills, leadership skills, event organising and managing skills, etc.

2. Organisational structure:

The Club is divided into 3 committees as follows:

• Executive Committee
• Personnel Committee
• Media and communication Committee

The Executive Committee is chaired by Ms. Le Thi Thuy Tien – Class of Business Management (48^th year). Four Vice-Presidents of the Committee are as follows:

• Nguyen Thi Hien – Class of Travel Management (48^th year)
• Hoang Thi Thuy Trang – Class of Tour Guide (48^th year)
• Tran Hoang Ngan – Class of Tourism Economics (48^th year)
• Le Quang Thanh Nhan – Class of Tourism Economics (48^th year).

3. Operational plan:

– Maintain regular meet-ups for members every Sunday afternoon with a broad range of activities.

– Offer various outdoor activities for club member to enjoy.

– Invite foreign English speaking guests to join club activities to allow club members to practise English communication skills.

– Organise English speaking events such as: workshops to share experience about studying abroad, training class on CV writing skills, etc… to help club members improve their essential skills and social experience.

– Collaborate with other clubs in a wide range of projects.
