School of Hospitality and Tourism
1. Overview:
The Red Drop Club was founded on November 11, 2009 under Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of School of Hospitality and Tourism, Hue University.
The Red Drop Club was established to campaign and advocate for blood donation to save people’s lives to every Faculty student as well as all the citizens. The Club aims to raise awareness on blood donation as it is not harmful to a person’s health but a very noble and compassionate act. “One drop of blood given away, one life saved”.
Acting as a social hub for youth union members, the Red Drop Club does not only encourage Faculty students to sign up to be a blood donor but also inspire them to become an active advocate for blood donation.
2. Club organizational structure:
The Club has 50 members in total, including 10 males and 40 females with the majority coming from students of year 48th and 49th.
The Executive Committee consists of 4 members as follows:
- Head: Mr. Pham Anh Tuan (Travel Guide – year 48th)
- Deputy Heads:
- Nguyen Thi Hong Phi (Travel Management 1 – year 48th)
- Nguyen Thi Hong Nhung ((Travel Management 1 – year 48th)
- Phan Hoang Tan Vu (Economics – year 49th)
- Treasurer: Ms. Nguyen Thi Luong Uyen (Travel Management 1 – year 48th)
3. Operational plan:
- Collaborate with National Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion of Hue city
