School of Hospitality and Tourism
Regarding the international cooperation framework for the year 2017, representatives of the La Rochelle University of Commerce in France (LRBC) had a working visit to the School of Hospitality and Tourismon February 13, 2017.
Representatives of LRBS include Professor Maxime Gambini, Vice-Principal, Associate Professor Tan Vo Thanh, Southeast Asia Development Director, and Mr. Nguyen Van Hung, Head of LRBS Representative Office in Vietnam. Prof. Dr. Tran Huu Tuan – Deputy Dean of School of Hospitality and Tourism and International Cooperation Department of Tourism represented the School of Hospitality and Tourism to welcome the delegation.
During the meeting, both schools introduced the history, development strategy, vision as well as their available training programs. In addition, both schools also shared information on tourism development in two localities: La Rochelle City and Hue City.

Both schools had discussion about international cooperation opportunities in education, scientific research and technology to improve teaching quality, human resource capacity and research quality. Both schools had reached mutual understanding and looked forward for further commitment in the near future.

At the closing of the meeting, Assoc. Dr. Tran Huu Tuan expressed the School of Hospitality and Tourism’s appreciation for LRBS’s interest in working in collaboration with the Faculty and offered a small gift for the delegation from LRBS.
